Between tour dates all over North America, Raekwon, Ghostface and Method Man have been in the lab throughout the past few months working hard on their first collaborative album. Of course, all three have appeared on a ton of Wu-Tang joints in the past, but some of the group's trio work on Raekwon's 'Only Built 4 Cuban Linx 2' really raised anticipation for a full album of vintage hard-hitting beats and lyricism. According to Rae, a record will soon be surfacing.
"Yo, March 9th, 'Three, the Hard Way' coming," he said in a video posted on XXL's website. "Me, Ghost, Meth, get ready. We gonna be shooting a video next month or something ... Everybody get ready."
The record was originally slated for a release last winter, but was pushed back indefinitely because the trio wasn't finished recording. Recently, they held a contest for a group name, but haven't announced anything definitive yet on that front. Rae did add that the trio would be called Bastard Swordsmen if he had his say. Not bad.
