The independently produced Curtis "50 Cent" Jackson film 'Twelve' recently sold at Sundance Film Festival for $2 million.The film, which stars 50 alongside Gossip Girl hearthrob Chace Crawford, was written and directed by 'Lost Boys' director Joel Schumacher. In the film, 50 plays a drug dealer who peddles to Crawford's character, hoping to build his business amongst his wealthy friends.
"I made a fool of myself the first day of shooting," 50 told the New York Daily News. "I got to my trailer and I saw this huge crowd of girls screaming. I stopped and was kind of having a moment. Then I turned around, and Chace was behind me, and that's who they were freaking out for."
The Queens rapper and G-Unit boss has appeared in several notable films, including 'Get Rich or Die Trying' and 'Righteous Kill' with Robert De Niro and Al Pacino. He will be appearing in several forthcoming films, including 'Jekyll and Hyde' with Forest Whitaker, and 'Gun,' which 50 penned and also stars Val Kilmer.
