Kid Cudi Finally Apologizes for Punching Fan

Kid kudiKid Cudi will make his official debut in HBO's new comedy series 'How To Make It in America' this Sunday night and it seems like the Cleveland-born rapper is tying up some loose ends before he catapults himself into the world of movie stardom.

Back in December, Cudder got the boot from his opening spot on Lady Gaga's 'Monster Ball' tour after punching a fan in the face during a Vancouver concert at the Commodore Ballroom. He's choosen to keep relatively mum about the situation since then, but according to TMZ, Cudi has reached out to make amends with his victim.

Vancouver resident Michael Sharpe, explained that Cudi phoned him last weekend to apologize for the incident. Sharpe said that the rapper blamed his ill-conceived move on his alcohol intake, and even offered to fly him to New York on an all-expense paid trip just to show how sorry he was. There has been no confirmation from Cudi's camp but if the details are true, it looks like Mr. Solo Dolo isn't holding any grudges here. The initial attack was prompted when an unidentified fan tossed a wallet onstage during the concert. Cudi incorrectly identified Sharpe as the culprit and went on the fritz.

First of all lets not condemn a culture for a few actions and the whole exploitation of hiphop during the 1990's. If anything your artists like Korn, Flyleaf, and your beloved crackpot Amy Winehouse should be banned (just kidding I DON'T DISCRIMINATE). Cool Kids, Jey Henderson, Kanye West, Nujabes, Black Thought, Mos Def, Talib Kweli, Q-Tip, Pharrell, Consequence, LUPE FIASCO, Andre 3000, Mickey Factz, Charles Hamilton, Rhymefest, or even Pacific Division are GREAT artists and should not be banned because your suburbanite a** children listen to Gucci, Lil Wayne, 50 cent, or whatever wack ass excuse for a rapper there is that is still out giving everyone a bad name! So dear Alice and friends...shove it please! I'm 100% BLACK and I listen to the decent rappers I first mentioned, Nora Jones, Charlie Hunters Quartet, Steely Dan, Chick Corea, Weather Report, and Marian Mcpartland. SO OPEN YOUR EFFIN MIND and don't block your children so much it's like effin lobotomy. Second I'd like to say chances are you will get an "Obama" colored person married into the family someday, Karma is a B**** that way.

yeah alice your racism is disgusting. and those rappers that cant "afford a belt" have belts worth more then 10 years of you working. And now a days there are plenty of white rappers that dress the same way..Then you have the rappers like Kanye West and few others that dress very proper.

Rap makes me almost as sick as the so-called artists that generate it. It stinks. Mine is not an uneducated response....it must be racial.

Oh please... you both make me sick, rap music isn't obama-music, but it is generally a negative influence. Use some brains when reading articles... they guy made a mistake (a big one) and is trying to apologize... great. Now we can all hope he learns to hold onto his temper, and has learned that hitting his fans is not a profitable move.
