According to reports, singer Mariah Carey and her entertainer husband Nick Cannon are considering adoption. Bossip.com credits a source close to the couple, who claims that they are planning to have a baby in the next two months, even if they have to adopt. According to the website, Mariah and Nick "would love to experience pregnancy, but if they can't conceive they are ready to adopt."
Mariah, who is 40, allegedly delayed pregnancy due to her career, but now intends to start a family. "We absolutely plan to have a family," Cannon, 29, told MTV. "But we gotta prioritize, because that's a major, major priority. That's like the only priority in life, when you think about it, is starting and raising a family. We wanna make sure everything is out of the way and that we don't have any distractions."
Cannon currently hosts "America's Got Talent," runs a production company, the TeenNick cable network and just started DJing mornings on 92.3 Now in NYC. Mariah Carey's new album, 'Album's Advocate' is scheduled for a March 30 release.
