Rick Ross Squashes Floyd Mayweather Beef

Rick Ross and Floyd Mayweather

Rick Ross is usually starting some sort of hilarious trouble, but now and then he makes peace in the name of getting money. That's what happened when he was recently in Vegas and ran into boxer Floyd Mayweather -- a consistent 2009 diss target and nasty competitor in his own right. Instead of solving the problem with fists, Ross shook hands and let bygones be bygones.

"Yeah, bumped into Floyd Mayweather," Ross told MTV News. "Most definitely. We chopped it up like Gs and after a discussion, we shook hands. So that's squashed. It's a new year, it's time to get new money. Y'all know what it is. I kept it 1,000."

So, is Ross going to go positive in 2010? Not so fast. As Ross remains in Vegas, he has apparently taken to some shirtless hotel bowling and he's challenging MTV's Sway to a battle of the champions. Sway seems a little scared, but might be up for the challenge if they can get donations for Haiti. We'd rather see them fight, but this is pretty good, too.

"I get it down with my homies," explained Ross about his bowling prowess. "Gunplay got a little something. I would love to issue a challenge to anybody that think they could go cold turkey on the Boss. I hear Sway got something, but I don't think Sway want none. You feel me? This is the winner's side."
