Late last December, T.I. was granted early release from an Arkansas prison, where he was initially set to serve 366 days after pleading guilty to federal weapons charges. The ATL rapper has remained low key since then, as he expected to complete the rest of his sentence at a halfway house in Atlanta. But The King made his first public appearance since his incarceration, during an Alzheimer's fundraiser in Atlanta on Monday night (Feb 22).T.I. -- real name Clifford Harris -- joined his fiance Tameka 'Tiny' Cottle at Atlanta's Opera house to support "The Lover Of Our Fathers" fundraiser. While BET cameras filmed scenes for Tiny's reality TV show 'Tiny & Toya,' T.I. briefly addressed a surprised crowd of entertainers and press. "I am very well," he told the crowd. "Very happy to be seen." Later in the night, T.I. surprised Tiny with a new 2010 Porsche Panemera. After checking out her new car, which was expertly wrapped in a giant red bow, Tiny told onlookers that she was glad to have her fiance back. "I'm so glad to have him home," she said.
T.I. was released from prison on Dec. 22, 2009 after serving seven months of his one year and a day sentence. The rapper was charged with providing a bodyguard with $12,000 to purchase weapons and silencers.
