Yung Berg Robbed and Pistol-Whipped in LA

Chicago-bred rapper Yung Berg, real name Christian Ward, was reportedly the victim of a brutal robbery that took place in Los Angeles last weekend. According to TMZ, Berg was chilling at a late night house party when four suspects entered around 2AM with an arsenal of firearms. Law enforcement is claiming that the criminals made off with somewhere around $10,000 in cash and jewelry from eight partygoers.

That's a bad enough story, but things actually get worse. The LAPD also revealed that Yung Berg was one of two victims of a pistol-whipping in the process. Thus far, the rapper has yet to respond to the story and one of his reps is a little peeved at the whole thing, saying that Berg "has been in Vegas" and that he doesn't know anything about the incident.

Police are officially seeking a black male, a woman wearing a dark hooded sweatshirt and another woman who wore a red sweatshirt. Law enforcement was only alerted because a woman at the house was able to escape during the resulting confusion and alert the police.

The media is still waiting for an official statement from Yung Berg on the incident.

Born Talent how can you be so big on Hip-hop and have never heard of Young Berg? I don't like him myself but if you follow rap music there is no way that you should not have heard of him. And to all of you idiots out there no matter how much of a thug you are you can always get caught slippin. How does someone running up on you with a gun make you a punk. And Chuck is a moron. Bitch, stop lying. How does 12 percent of the overall population commit 83 percent of the crime. That doesn't even make since. Let me guess, in your world, the other 17 percent of the crimes are committed by Mexicans, huh? And we all know White people have NEVER, EVER committed any crime anywhere in the known world since their inception on the planet. This is why Bush and Cheney are not in prison even though they blatantly violated domestic and international laws. But, I must remember when White people break the law it does look as bad on them as it does on people of color because White people can always break their own laws and get a free pass. People of color, on the other hand, are not so "fortunate". Truth be, Chuck, most of the hell (criminal activity) created on the planet is by White people. I don't give a damn about you or anyone else calling me a racist because I know the truth. The world history of Caucasian people in their interaction with other sectors of humanity speaks for itself. Ok... I have been listening to Hiphop for over 27years, and currently have a Hiphop radio show that is 10 years running... andi have NEVER heard of this guy!!
I hate when a news article comes out with some guy who uploads music to his myspace page and calls himself a "rapper" is arrested..and the headline is "Rapper arrested".
Second off... with such an unoriginal name like "Yung"...maybe he should switch to "Lil" and say he has "SWAG". lol
