Beatnuts' Psycho Les Sued for Injuring Concertgoer
Rapper/producer Psycho Les of hardcore, crate-digging Queens group The Beatnuts is being sued by a concertgoer who claims she was injured at a show in Aspen, Colo.
According to the lawsuit, a "visibly intoxicated" Les attempted to pull the alleged victim, Kristin Scharrer, onto the stage while performing at the upscale resort town's popular club The Belly Up. Scharrer alleges that she resisted Les's attempts, resulting in Scharrer "violently hitting her leg on the sharp edge of the stage's front."
Scharrer suffered nerve damage and scarring as a result of the incident, and is seeking over $100,000 in damages from Les, accusing him of battery, outrageous conduct and false imprisonment. Additionally, the venue is being sued for negligence, failing to provide adequate security and continuing to serve the intoxicated rapper alcohol.
The Beatnuts have yet to make a statement about the lawsuit.
