J-Kwon Alive, Just Wanted 'Some Time to Himself'

J-KwonJ-Kwon had his label, management, family and friends all worried earlier this week when no one had heard from the St. Louis rapper in nearly a month. Gracie Productions, who signed the 24-year-old in early 2009, was getting ready to drop Kwon's third album for the label on March 23 and in an effort to loacte him set up the Twitter page @WhereIsJkown.

"I am very happy to let everyone know that I personally spoke with J-Kwon today, and he is OK," Kwon's manager and a Gracie CEO Dorian Washington said in a statement released earlier today (March 4). "He'd like to send a sincere apology to his friends and everyone who showed concern this week. He was taking some time to himself as he sometimes does, not realizing that people would start to worry after a while. A few days out of touch versus a month is quite a difference. Right now, he just wants to keep doing what he's doing and will be more available for those who care about him. We thank you again for your outreach, and we are relieved to know he'll be all right."

While his next album will be self-titled, perhaps a better name for it would be 'M.I.A.'

I find it amusing that all you secret KKK members talk about the hate rap music creates, yet all your doing here is exactly that: spewing hate!!! You all have nothing better to do but run your mouths. So when you go to church in the morning make sure to take your costume, cape, mask, or whatever that white mess is you all wear at your meetings. Let people know what you really think of fellow humanbeings...brothers and sisters. You ridiculously bored, hateful, probably uneducated bunch of racist fools! Remember, check yourself before you go on judging someone else...it's likely that your doing exactly the samething your complaining about...LMAO

by the way, so people don't think i was being biased by getting pissed at the guy saying do your sister; you guys putting all these COWBOY comments and stuff need to stop as well. Being a cowboy is about being a tough but GOOD PERSON. That involves RESPECT!!!!!! No i don't care that they found him. Don't wish he was dead either though. Just like that WHITE piece of crap politician that they could not find who was having an affair. I have no respect for people who bail on the ones they love without telling those who care about them. I don't care how good their music is...and yes you idiots, rap is music too...except Eminem of course. ha. So everybody shut up and stop putting stuff up just to piss people off. Damn. Like a big, biased, over-sensitive orgy of hate in here.

I believe you are the one being biased and damn close to racist sir. Think about it genius. You just dropped just as low as the other guy apparently did. And i don't believe his words were towards you to entice such an arrogant AND ignorrant response. Go do your sister? Like other races don't sexual abuse their own CHILDREN or have relations with their siblings? Get a life and get off of whatever you are on that makes you and other people so sensitive and hypocritical. thank you.

It could have been a publicity stunt, or it actually could have been him wanting a vacation. I mean come on, cut him a little slack; being on the road for months at a time, all these live performances some of them being a rush- rush on stage moment, others already being planned, photo shoots, countless interviews, the fans, the studio time, just the travel in general CAN be hard on someone.

The music industry isn't as easy and fun as it looks, even Diddy, DMX, 2pac and others have vouched for that. It's a lot of hard work and when you are younger it can be hell for you, because you are not all the way molded into this kind of lifestyle.. the busy schedule.

Cameras all in your face, paparazzi on your ass snapping photos or wanting comments.. you can't even head out to the mall or go grab something to eat with family or friends without crazy fans wanting autographs or pictures from you.

So you really can't be so hard on him.

Lol...I really don't think that he had any paparazzi following him I mean he hasn't been around since what? the early 2000s

But I'm guessing that this was a publicity stunt to get his name back out there because he was surely forgotten. He has been missing for a month and they just announced it?? Still won't sell any albums...

"Kwon's third album for the label on March 23 and in an effort to loacte him set up the Twitter page @WhereIsJkown."

I am surprised that aol is allowing such typos on their articles. One would think that the person who puts up the article will first edit the article for bad spelling and typos such as "loacte" which should be "locate" and "@WhereIsJkown" which should be "@WhereIsJkwon". I hope the people are not getting paid as much for making these mistakes. I mean two mistakes in one paragraph is pretty bad.

As for where whomever this J-Kwon dude is, who really cares where he is except for his family? I have never heard of the dude.
