Ludacris and Bill O'Reilly Kiss and Make Up

Way back in 2002, Bill O'Reilly -- talking head and general Fox News rabble-rouser -- started a feud with rapper/actor Ludacris when he took aim at his lyrics and hip-hop in general. 'The O'Reilly Factor' host was relentless (and pretty much ignorant) in his criticism of Luda's contribution to culture. It wasn't just talk, either. O'Reilly's attacks resulted in the rapper getting canned as a spokesperson for Pepsi, after the host called for a boycott of the soft drink. Well, it's been eight years, but not much had changed until the other night when both parties ended up at the same event.

"The first thing I said to him was, 'I want to meet the guy who has had so much to say about me, but knows absolutely nothing about me'," explained Ludacris to RadarOnline. "I wanted to speak to him when I saw his name on the guest list. I looked at what table he was on and I walked my a-- straight to that table."

Luda dished on the grave look that washed over O'Reilly's face as he approached. We're guessing if there were some video footage of this moment, you'd have an instant YouTube classic on your hands. The rapper continued, "The conversation we had was confidential, however, let's just say it was a good conversation and good came out of it."

So, the O'Reilly beef is finally squashed. Maybe Cam'ron is next? Somehow we doubt that one.

The O'Reilly and Ludacris debate provides another opportunity to discuss race.
I'm an African American man and I will admit that SOME black people inject race or racism when it's unwarranted. SOME are quick, like lightning from the sky, to blame the "white man" for all of their problems - that's ludicrous! On the other hand, SOME white people pretend or deny that racism doesn't exist. SOME like to say, "Get over it." Allow me to use some imaginative provocation, with racial elements, for emphasis and hopefully cause a few people to have a some empathy. Imagine a person of color, of any race, attacking a white girl or woman and then admit to her parents and relatives that he harmed her only because she's white. The attacker adds, "Get over it." Imagine their reaction....they would be angry for what he did and why he did it. Racism, like the attacker, is evil.

fcukyastupid, a lot of black people can't get welfare because your Mormon polygamists are draining the government. Besides, your incest relatives are taking their share also. Stop marrying and molesting those teenagers.

I wish Obama would take the lead and say something to try to end all this BS of the blacks calling the whites racist every time we whites don't agree with you. It only stirs up more hate and doesn't solve a thing. Al Sharpton is suppose to be a reverend and he is one of the worse ones. We need someone to create harmony amongst races, not hatred.

Tom, have you been wounded by racism like black people have? Some criticism of racism is simply not because of disagreements. Why didn't you ask Bush to take the lead in condemning white racism? Please be consistent. Furthermore, we -- all people -- need to look to God for guidance, not Bush or Obama; "Don't judge by his appearance or height, for I have rejected him. The Lord doesn't see things the way you see them. People judge by outward appearance, but the Lord looks at the heart" (1Sam. 16:). This is where we need to begin!

Tom, is it ok to insinuate that Rev. Sharpton is a racist because you disagree with him? "He is one of the worst ones." Be consistent buddy. It also appears that you assume that everything he says or does is prohibited by the Bible. I can't speak on everything he says or does, but some of his actions are taken directly from the Bible. For example, when Don Imus called the black females on Rutger's basketball team "Nappy-headed hoes", Rev. Sharpton quoted Scripture to challenge Imus. I didn't hear any white ministers come out and condemn Imus' hateful remarks. Many white ministers remain silent about racism, a fact that Dr. King spoke about and which disappointed him. However, they will speak day and night about homosexuality and abortion.

The sad part of this is the ignorant white kids that buy this CRAP and call it music. They are the main reason this no talent bum is even in the news. When you get older you WILL wonder what in the hell was I thinking.

Victor, I assume that everything that you allow to enter your ears is completely wholesome. I assume that everything that your eyes look at is above reproach. I assume that your every thought is pure. Dude, please don't be a hypocrite. I don't care for rap music, but I'm not so holy that I can castigate others for purchasing it. You have flaws, too.
