Singer/producer Akon is officially in the fragrance business after launching his new scent Konvict via the Web. The line, which offers perfume for woman and cologne for men in the form of a handcuff shaped bottle, is named after his multi-platinum album 'Konvicted' released in 2006.Konvict is produced in partnership with Akon's newly formed company Konvict Cosmetics International LLC. "We are excited and honored to launch Konvict with Akon which we project strong sales in this celebrity fragrance market," managing director Jack Aini said.
