
Jay-Z and Eminem will expand the popular DJ Hero Renegade video series with the addition of remixes to some of their hits. Taking a song from each rapper and fusing them into a downloadable mash-up, the new version of the game will be available later this month. Gamers will compete with Em's 'Shake That' mixed with Jay's 'Show Me What You Got,' Em's 'Without Me' mixed with Jay's 'Encore,' and Jay's 'Can I Get A' mixed with Em's 'Lose Yourself.'
Those looking to add more songs to their virtual DJ battle can download the DJ Hero 'Extended Mix Pack 01,' which includes hip-hop, rock, pop dance fusion. Among the song choices include 50 Cent's 'All of Me' mixed with Queens 'Radio Ga Ga,' and 'Dare' by Gorillaz mixed with Public Enemy's 'Can't Trust It.'
Released by Activision in 2009, the DJ Hero Renegade Edition is an extended version of the basic DJ Hero videogame. The game simulates a real DJ session, complete with a turntable controller and a carrying case the turns into an equipment stand. The game also includes an exclusive Jay-Z and Eminem 2-CD pack featuring unreleased material. The 'Jay-Z vs. Eminem Mix Pack' is available for Xbox 360 on March 18 and PlayStation starting March 25.
