Redman and Method Man Offer Kids Free Easter Haircuts

Redman and Method Man are teaming up with Staten Island, New York-based barbershop chain, Against the Grain, to offer kids free haircuts this April, for the upcoming Easter holiday. Now in its second year the 'ADG Kids Cut Day' will provide haircuts and styling for children under 12 years old and is set to take place at the shop's flagship store located in downtown Staten Island.

Although its not clear if Red or Meth will actually pick up clippers and do some cuts themselves, the duo will be donating their time. "Whether it's free haircuts or family style BBQ's, ADG is always looking for ways to reward its customers," Redman said in a statement. "I'm always down to celebrate their community efforts." The youngsters will receive the star treatment at the hands of celebrity barbers/stylists Sean White and Tariq, who have also done cuts for Red, Meth and other members of the Wu-Tang Clan.

Attendees are encouraged to arrive early to secure a spot. Cuts will be given Saturday, April 3, on a first come first serve basis between the hours of 12 p.m. to 5 p.m.

Haha At first I thought they meant Red and Meth would be doing the cuts themselves! That might not be a good idea. But it's great that they are donating their time to this and doing something positive for the community. If only other rap stars could do the same.
