Say What! -- Khia Says 'I Conquered Hip Hop' + More

"My Neck, My Back" rapper Khia has announced plans to launch a singing career. "Hip Hop to me, it's gone," she said. "I mean, you have video vixens and porn stars and everybody just think they can rap now. So it's like, I don't wanna be attached to it any kind of way [anymore]. So, they can have it...I think I kinda conquered Hip Hop and now I'm trying to go on to bigger and better things." Yeah, she really killed em with all those classic, platinum-selling records she released. [HipHopWired]

Robert Meloni, attorney for the guy who is suing Lady Gaga for $30 million for getting rich without him, had some words for Gaga, aka Stefani Germanotta. "The claim filed by Lady Gaga does not pass the laugh test. I assume their strategy here in response to Fusari's complaint is 'the best defense is a good offense,' with their claim being the 'offense' but it really gives 'falling on your sword' an entirely new meaning. Ms. Germanotta really should not be playing with sharp objects." Good one, lawyer. [MTV]
