Just in time for spring, songstress Mary J. Blige is teaming up with Degree Women's antiperspirant to kick-off their newest deodorant and body mist line Natureffects. Blige will lent her pipes to a special free concert held in New York City's Times Square on Monday, March 22, to show her support for the company's 'Dare to Join Forces with Nature' campaign. The company will transform the famous New York City streets into a spring paradise complete with cascading flowers and trees along the usually bare concrete sidewalks. "Degree salutes women who dare to feel more alive, and who are inspiring and confident, which is quite an empowering message!" Said Blige in a statement. "That's why Degree Women Natureffects is helping to support my organization FFAWN [Foundation for the Advancement of Woman Now], which is dedicated to helping women gain the confidence and skills they need to reach their full potential."
Footage from Blige's performance will be available for view March 23 at Facebook.com/DegreeWomen.
