Suge Knight is back in trouble with authorities, this time around it's for allegedly beating and robbing Bay Area rapper Yukmouth. TMZ.com is reporting that the former hip-hop mogul attacked Yukmouth around 10PM Monday (March 22) at a Ralph's grocery store in the San Fernando Valley near Los Angeles. Law enforcement sources revealed that Knight and 10 members of his entourage beat the Oakland, California native -- who also makes up one-half of the hip-hop duo Luniz -- before robbing him for $92,000 in jewelry. Although it is unclear what caused the altercation, Knight and his accomplices fled the scene. Police are still looking for the 44-year-old, who also has a misdemeanor warrant out from a previous incident.
Knight has a hefty reputation of getting into fights. Last year, he was involved in a brawl at a private party in Arizona, which left him hospitalized. In a separate incident, Knight was arrested for kicking and punching girlfriend Melissa Isaacs. The former Death Row labelhead pled guilty to misdemeanor domestic battery. He was ordered to pay a $340 fine and attend domestic violence counseling.
A message left with Yukmouth's management team was not responded to at press time.
