Pharrell's 'The Tank' Chair Debuts at French Art Gallery

Neptunes producer/fashion buff Pharrell Williams debuted his newest creation, "The Tank" chair at Parisian concept boutique Colette, Monday (March 22).

The chair is Pharrell's art design followup to his "Perspective" chair in 2008, and his "The Simple Things" collaboration with Takashi Murakami in 2009.

The four models of "The Tank" chair -- a creative take on the subject of war -- are constructed of Plexiglass and foal or calf materials. On display at Colette until March 28, the chair then heads to Galerie Emmanuel Perrotin from March 30 through April 24, where it will be be available for viewing by appointment only. It will be released in a limited edition of eight pieces in each style.
