Several close friends of the late DJ AM put on an unannounced tribute show in Miami last night. The respected DJ died unexpectedly of a drug overdose last August in New York City. AM collaborators Travis Barker, A-Trak and Jazzy Jeff performed at the event, which was part of Miami's Winter Music Conference.
Though the lineup was kept a secret, A-Trak and Barker took the stage at LIV nightclub to a packed house. The two started the night off with the former Blink-182 drummer beating the drums while A-Trak cut up AM's name in his signature style with a montage of images of AM projecting behind them.
Legendary DJ Jazzy Jeff also performed at the event, which included a guest appearance by Lil Jon and celebrity DJ guests like Steve Aoki and DJ Tiesto.
