In February, organizers announced that Jay-Z would continue his U.K. tour with a headlining spot at Britain's Wireless music festival. Now, the Roc Nation CEO will have company in the form of Missy Elliott, Drake and Wale, who have all been added as performers at the annual three-day festival. Organizers have confirmed that Elliott will join LCD Soundsystem on day two of the fest, Saturday, July 3. The announcement comes as a surprise, since Elliott's last album was 2005's 'The Cook Book.' Drake and Wale will close up shop with Jay-Z on Sunday, July 4, where concert-goers can also expect to see performances from Lily Allen and Kanye West's G.O.O.D Music signee, Mr. Hudson. Additional performers will include, Pink, DJ Shadow, Plan B and the Ting Tings.
Jay-Z will play two June dates in the U.K., part of his 'Blueprint 3' tour, before headlining Wireless. Both Drake and Missy will be supporting new albums with their appearances at the fest. Drake's debut, 'Thank Me Later,' drops on May 25, and Missy Elliott is scheduled to release her seventh album 'Block Party' later this year.
The sixth annual Wireless festival will take place in London's Hyde Park, from July 2-4.
