Swizz Beatz, Fonzworth Bentley Join Forces for Refresh Project
Producer Swizz Beatz, Fonzworth Bentley, and actor Hill Harper are teaming up for the Pepsi Refresh Project. Together the three will helm the Pepsi Idea Seminar aimed at educating youth on how to develop ideas and access tools that will positively impact their communities.
The all-day seminar will take place in Los Angeles this April and starts with a motivational introduction from Harper followed by Bentley speaking on philanthropy and education. Beginning at noon, the event will commence with a performance from Swizz. Additionally attendees, who have all pre-registered for the event, can participate in different workshops aimed at cultivating ideas into reality.
This year, the Pepsi Refresh Project will disburse $20 million in grants to citizens, non-profit organizations and businesses working to make a positive global impact. Pepsi will also host an online idea lounge where the public can vote on which of their favorite ideas deserve grants.
The Pepsi Refresh Project event will be held April 3 at the California Science Center in Los Angeles. For more information visit www.refresheverything.com.
