Play Cloths, the clothing line owned by Clipse members Pusha T and Malice, is showing some healthy growth and their next move is a big one: collaborating with Casio G-Shock for the limited edition watch. Entitled the 'Play Cloths X G-Shock DW6900,' the new watch is a stylized take on your traditional G-Shock creation. The watch should be available through online and high-end streetwear retailers very soon, so keep an eye out. It comes with a reasonable $200 price tag -- a good deal for a limited edition piece that offers shock and water resistance, flash alert, a multi-function alarm, countdown timer, stopwatch and 12/24 hour formats. The watch, available in the brand's trademark combination of red with white and black stripes, prominently features the Play Cloths "Jack" logo and comes in a cool little luxury luggage box.
"Play Cloths is very eager to expand the brand name within our market place. So by collaborating with heritage brands such as Casio G-Shock, we feel we are doing just that," said Ryan Haslam, marketing director of Play Cloths in a statement.
With this collaboration, Clipse and Play Cloths join other hip brands such as LRG, Mastermind Japan, Swagger and Mister Cartoon in the shortlist of companies to step-out with their very own G-Shock.
