'The R.E.D. Album,' a long-awaited opus from Game, has finally been given a June 15 release date. If all goes according plan, that means the Dr.Dre-collaborator will be going head-to-head with Drake's 'Thank Me Later' in a battle for ultimate Billboard supremacy. Of course, this is all subject to change as it seems like every hip-hop record gets a few release delays nowadays. After all, this marks the fourth delay for Game's new record. Thus far, 'The R.E.D. Album' has been touted as a classic in the making. The album's production team includes Dr. Dre, Timbaland, RZA, 'Hate it or Love it' producers Cool & Dre and Pharrell. The Pharrell track sports a guest feature from none other than Justin Timberlake, showing that Game is taking a few stabs at pop music this time around.
Initially slated for a February release, the project was pushed to March. As that date passed, things were rather quiet on 'The R.E.D. Album' front before this new announcement. There were reports that Game headed back into the studio with Dre, but that was mostly teasing the rapper's work on 'Detox.'
