Reflection Eternal, the duo of Talib Kweli and Hi-Tek, are officially ramping up to the release of their long-awaited 'Revolutions Per Minute' LP on May 18. The record will be the group's first official effort since 'Train of Thought,' which came out in October 2000. With a month until the album hits stores and online retailers, Reflection Eternal are hitting the road to spread their horn-heavy gospel to the masses.The 25-date journey touches down in most corners across the U.S. Things get started on April 22 in Cincinnati, Ohio followed by New York City (April 29), Philadelphia (May 5) and Los Angeles (May 19). J. Cole will open the first concert in Ohio and make an appearance at the date in New Brunswick, N.J. on April 30.
In addition to the tour, Reflection Eternal dropped a new video for the record's first single, 'Strangers,' featuring Bun B. The track is a bouncy political monster that finds Kweli railing against the healthcare industry ("Our healthcare system pitiful/ That's how hospitals profitable) and Bun B going all anti-IRS ("Still on grind tryin to get dough/ Why the government want to keep me in debt for?") It's a regal proof of superior skills for the two veteran MCs.
