Popular Atlanta rapper T.I. has announced on his website that his seventh album will be entitled, 'King Uncaged,' a reference to his recent release from prison. Since his release, the Grand Hustle boss has been holed up in the studio working with 'Lollipop' producer Jim Jonsin, Timbaland protege Danja and "Hustlin'" beatmakers The Runners, according to reports.
T.I., who completed his sentence in March, has released a buzz single from the album, 'I'm Back,' which has received a tepid response from fans, but is still currently at #65 on the Billboard Hot 100. Describing the album in a recent interview, the rapper explained "Paper Trail' was a lot more about thoughts and this is more about feelings. This is significantly more aggressive. It's going hard like classic T.I."
'King Uncaged' hits shelves August 24. The king back.
