Say What! -- Ray-J Apologizes to Flo-Rida + More
Ray-J appeared on the first episode of his "Family Business" show with sister Brandy, where he dissed her main squeeze, Flo-rida, calling him a "sucka" for not offering to pay for her outfit to The Grammy's. After the show aired, he quickly backpedaled, saying "I meant no disrespect to Flo-Rida, he's a cool dude...There was some things said about Flo Rida in the first episode that people I think are blowing way out of proportion...I meant no disrespect to Flo Rida he's a cool dude always has been to the family. I'm on here right now to kill all of this nonsense that the media's trying to portray." Yeah, blame the media, Ray. [HipHopWired]
Ryan Seacrest also apologized for his recent behavior on American Idol, where he made fun of a former host, had a weird talk with his mom on the air, enjoyed a manly slow dance and generally creeped people out. "I was enjoying it," he explained later. "We've done this show for nine years. When they take me out into the audience, sometimes the energy out there takes me to a different place. I looked at the people and I was just having fun Tuesday night. That guy looked like the most inappropriate person to dance with, so I figured, 'Let's pick him up and just dance with him for a second.'" Edgy. [MTV]
