With her much-discussed video for 'Window Seat' and fantastic new record 'New Amerykah Part Two (Return of the Ankh),' Erykah Badu has most certainly recaptured the public's attention. She plans to hit the road with new songs in tow for an upcoming tour being dubbed 'Out My Mind, Just In Time.' Kicking off in Baltimore on May 22 and concluding on June 24 in Las Vegas, Badu will spread her distinct brand of neo-funk with a rotating cast that features some of the finest opening acts around. Openers include Roots drummer and frequent collaborator Questlove, as well as N.E.R.D., Bilal and Janelle Monáe. Badu also plans to hit up a few marquee summer festivals such as Lollapalooza and the recently resurrected Lilith Fair -- an ode to strong women like Erykah.
Other big city dates for Badu include Boston (May 23), New York City (May 24), Philadelphia (May 26), Washington D.C. (May 28), a multiple night stand in Chicago (June 2 and 3) and Los Angeles (June 20). For the full schedule, head here.
