In an effort to fight obesity, Atlanta producer Jazze Pha has teamed up with Kenya Crooks -- "The World's Greatest Weight Loss Expert" -- and EntertainCorp to launch the First Annual Jazze Pha Take It Off $1000 Weight Loss Challenge.The contest will be launched on a national level and the contestant who sheds the most weight within the four month time frame will be awarded a cash prize of $1000. The top three runner-ups will also receive prizes that include a spa day makeover at Texturz salon in Duluth, Ga., a photo shoot with Drexina Nelson, and a free month of group training with Kenya Crooks. If the winner lives outside of Georgia, they are given the option to redeem their prizes locally.
Jazze Pha who has struggled with his weight for some time now is also planning to loose 100 pounds over the next four months as part of the contest. "A lot of people depend on me. I want to live to see my children become adults," he said in a statement. "I now understand that my weight loss isn't so much about me as mush as it is about the many people that I may inspire to live a healthier lifestyle through this movement to cure obesity."
