Wu-Tang producer RZA, who produced GZA's classic sophomore album 'Liquid Swords' in 1995, will be returning to the lab to craft the album's sequel."It's true: 'Liquid Swords 2' produced by the Abbot RZA coming fall 2010," RZA tweeted. "Who's ready for the Wu? Bong bong."
The announcement comes hot on the heels of several well-received Wu-related projects, including Raekwon's highly acclaimed sequel, 'Only Built 4 Cuban Linx, Pt. 2,' Redman and Method Man's 'Blackout! 2,' and 'Wu-Massacre,' a collaborative effort by Method Man, Raekwon and Ghostface.
During the RZA's classic run, he produced the bulk of the Wu's best albums, including 'Enter the Wu-Tang (36 Chambers),' Method Man's 'Tical,' Ghostface's 'Iron Man,' Raekwon's 'Only Built 4 Cuban Linx...,' GZA,'s Liquid Swords and ODB's 'Return to the 36 Chambers: The Dirty Version.'
There is no word as to when 'Liquid Swords 2' will be released, or which label will be handling it, but we're looking forward to it.
