Though Yonkers rap group and former Bad Boy artists the LOX appeared close to signing with their old boss, Diddy, it looks like the reunion may no longer be a go. "That's onboard with a few offers," LOX rapper Jadakiss told MTV. "It was in the making with Diddy. But after we put out that '[Ha Ha] Slow Down' remix, we got a few more calls in that's on the table right now. They upped the ante. The ante got upped off a light freestyle. You see the impact? You feel that?"
While it's hard to imagine how many lucrative offers the mixtape-friendly, street-rap kings could possibly receive, we'd rather see them sign virtually anywhere than with Diddy, with whom the group had a serious business-related beef with for years. In the meantime, Jadakiss is currently at work on his new LP, 'Top Five, Dead or Alive,' which will be Def Jam/Roc-A-Fella, and is planning a tour in support of his new mixtape, 'The Champ is Here 3.'
