R&B singer Ciara found out first hand this week that blasting music late at night in a residential area might not be a good idea. After celebrating a birthday for a friend in Los Angeles on Tuesday (May 11), CiCi and a group of friends pulled into a nearby parking lot looking to keep the festivities going. Insisting it was the perfect time to play some of her new music; local residents didn't share the same sentiments and complained to the police.Ciara tweeted about the experience via her Twitter account. "Tonight was sooo much fun!! I originally had plans to go to the Victoria Secret party, but that changed last minute and I headed to celebrate my friend's birthday party! It was sooo much fun, and the funny thing to top it off was we all decided to go to a parking lot and play a few of the newest songs I recorded and we realized we had the music just a little too loud because the police came by and said they had received reports of loud music!! But thank God we had the music down in time, and there was no trouble with the po po."
After talking with the police officers Ciara topped off the night charming the two cops into a photo op. "We actually ended up taking photos together!"
In other news, Ciara recently released two new singles 'Ride' and the album's title-track 'Basic Instinct.' The album is due out later this year.
