Diddy is heading into overdrive with a new record, exclusive Sean John deal with Macy's, Judd Apatow-produced movie and personal line of Beats by Dre headphones all hitting the public around the same time. A big part of securing success for his upcoming album, 'Last Train to Paris,' will be convincing influential DJs to rep the tracks via their radio and club mixes. This morning, DJ Envy received the A-list marketing presentation with some royal treatment at the fancy New York City restaurant Philippe.
"Brunch at my favorite restaurant Philippe," Envy tweeted yesterday (May 13). "There are 9 plates ... hmmmmm who am I eating with ..."
That question was shortly answered with a who's who of proportions that only Diddy would pull off. Other guests included Dawn Richard and Kaleena (Puff's two Dirty Money cohorts), Cassie, Janelle Monae, Rick Ross, Red Café and Aasim. That's not such a bad way to start out a new day!
Envy didn't walk away empty handed either. After the long meal and a series of mobile phone pictures, he showed his ultimate prize for the morning: a brand-new pair of the Diddy Beats in-ear headphones. Head over to Rap Radar for some pictures.
