It looks like the wait for Kanye West's 'Good Ass Job' album will go on a little longer. According to reports, the Louis Vuitton Don's fifth release will not drop until September. The website HipHop Update broke the news after speaking to a source at the Def Jam Grammy U event in Santa Monica, California over the weekend. It was revealed that West's album will hit stores "sometime in September." No other details on the album were given. If the news is true, a September release will pit West up against his labelmate Ne-Yo whose latest is also said to hit stores in the same month.
This latest story comes in contrast to previous reports that pinpointed West's release date for June. The Chicago MC has been holed up in his Diamond Head, Hawaii home putting the album together for the past few months but has yet to release a statement. What we do know is 'Good Ass Job' will feature production from Q-Tip, DJ Premier and RZA.
