Rick Ross, Kanye West Pen 'Live Fast, Die Young'
Rick Ross' upcoming album 'Teflon Don' was recently pushed back from a June to July release date, but it seems like the delay might be justified. Ross confirmed that he recently jetted to Hawaii to record some new material for the album with Kanye West. That's right, the Teflon Don and Louis Vuitton Don are making music together, and Ross is calling it "one of the best recording experiences of [his] career."
"I feel like it's one of the best records I've been a part of in my career," Ross told Rap-Up of their new track. "Kanye produced it and we collaborated on it. It's a phenomenal record. I'm just extremely excited."
According to Ross, the new track, titled 'Live Fast, Die Young' is currently a contender for the album's second official single. The Miami rapper said that the song takes his music in a new direction, but one that fans are sure to enjoy. "It's most definitely gonna keep you on that dance floor," Ross said. "You most definitely gonna appreciate it. The chorus is to die for."
As far as his contributions to Kanye's upcoming album 'Good Ass Job,' Ross declined to reveal any details, but sufficed by saying that the two got a lot of work done during his visit. "I don't wanna discuss no details of his project, but we got a lot of things accomplished," he said.
'Teflon Don' is currently scheduled to hit stores on July 6.
