When you think of hip-hop music, Ryan Phillippe isn't the first thing that comes to mind, but don't count him out because the actor has dreams of becoming a record producer. "I would like to produce an artist at some point down the line," he said in an interview. "It's always been a passion of mine. I've grown up a hip-hop head since I was mad young."Phillippe isn't all talk, either. He actually goes out to shows -- most recently checking out rapper Drake during a performance in Los Angeles -- and has an interest for another emerging rapper. "There's this guy Jay Electronica that I'm really into right now," he said before listing some of his other favorite artists." Jay-Z. Biggie. All of 'em, everybody, the whole gang!"
We'll just have to wait and see if Phillippe actually follows through on his musical aspirations. For now he's focusing on the release of his new movie 'MacGrubber,' which hits theaters May 21.
