Common and Serena Williams Call it Quits?

Chicago rapper/actor Common has reportedly broken up with tennis star Serena Williams.

According to In Touch magazine, a source close to the two celebs claims that they ended their two-year relationship because they "just grew apart." Serena was noticeably absent at the May 4 premier of Common's film 'Just Wright,' which was his first starring role.

Last week the Windy City MC told TV personality Wendy Williams that he's not ready to settle down just yet, "It would be a great thing but I can't say that right now,'' Common explained. "I would love to be married and have children someday. So if Serena is that person, it would be a lovely thing.''

At this time, neither Serena nor Common have released an official statement regarding their breakup. Common is currently at work on his ninth album, 'The Believer,' which is scheduled for a Fall release.

Never heard of this guy, "Common" until this news release. Serena probably doesn't wish to date a commoner anyway. Good luck to them both, but - who cares?

Common has been acting and singing for about ten years and he isn't all that bad as an actor. I have heard some of his songs and they are not too bad either. He is not a commoner though, he just blends well. Now for the commoner:
