"We did a song together a few weeks ago. It was incredible. I played him something that I've been kicking around for a while and he immediately came out with words for it. It's unbelievable sounding," White said.
Pictures of the two in the studio recently surfaced, and while it's unknown whether the snapshots were taken during the aforementioned session, the stills suggest that a song may soon come to light. In the pictures, Jay is seen having a laugh with his wife Beyonce and White, while others show the two posing for the camera rocking Ray-Bans and conversing with Amy Winehouse.
Jay-Z has been keeping busy as of late, with a recent appearance as musical guest on 'Saturday Night Live' and a European tour planned for the month of June. His most recent album, 2009's 'The Blueprint 3', is nearing the double platinum mark, and knowing that Hov isn't one to rest on his laurels, his collaboration with White could very well end up on his next full-length offering.
Meanwhile, White just released 'Sea of Cowards', the sophomore album from one of his many side projects The Dead Weather. And as a producer, White manned the boards for 'The Ghost Who Walks', the debut album from his wife Karen Elson.
