Alicia Keys' Rep Confirms Pregnancy and Engagement

After weeks of rumors surrounding her pregnancy a rep for Alicia Keys has officially confirmed that she and boyfriend, Swizz Beatz, are expecting. It was also revealed that Keys, 29, and Swizz, 31, will be tying the knot later this year. The couple have been dating since 2008, and were recently spotted out and about in London. This will be the first child for Keys and the third for Swizz who has a 3-year-old son, Kasim Jr. with ex-wife Mashonda, and a 9-year-old son Prince Nasir, from a previous relationship.

News of her pregnancy arose when photos of Keys sporting a possible baby bump hit the 'net. The Grammy winner was later seen wearing loose fitting clothes, adding more fuel to the fire. This next step in their relationship comes in the throws of Swizzy's problems with Mashonda. As previously reported, Mashonda filed legal papers demanding $325,000 in equitable distribution plus $9,000 in alimony and child support. Swizz refuted her claims stating that the amount he owes is incorrect. "I've been taking blows and punches the whole time," Swizz said in an interview with the New York Post. "It's like here we go again. She's very fortunate. She's sitting here complaining about things people would love to have. You've got a new house, you've got everything you need ... buying $10,000 bags and stuff like that. Now instead of focusing on work I have to spend time on this foolishness. Enough is enough already." The two have been going back and forth in the media since their split back in 2008. Although Mashonda asserts that Keys started dating Swizz while they were still together, the producer maintains that the relationship was over before he started a new one.

In lieu of all the drama, Swizzy told us exclusively that his family remains his no. 1 priority. "I just stay focused on the things that matter," he said. "My kids matter. Being a great father matters...not paying attention to nonsense. I really don't pay attention to it because once you know who you are as a person you can live with that. If you don't know who you are as a person then you [have] all these different things you need to worry about. I'm at an amazing spot in my life. 2010 equals positive energy."

Good for you Cheyonia being married owning your own home and car and having a good job, most of us aren't that lucky and never will be, no matter what age they are when they have kids. Kids are a f'n pain in the ass and I wish I'd had my tubes tied before ever getting pregnant a day in my life. I know someone who did it, wish I'd thought of it.

Alicia Keys is so beautiful, like I used to be. I know you're a celebrity with money and you can afford a child, but why would you want to mess up your life and figure with some dumb kid that's going to grow up to be nothing, because that's all that's out here now is nothing, no matter who you are this generation and the next, except for a small few are nothing, but losers and criminals. I'm poor, was poor when I had my first child. I hate him, he's 19, smug, arrogant, uses drugs, thinks he's going to be a rapper. I wish I would've thrown his azz in a river when he was an infant if I had known he was going to grow up to be a menace to society. Soon as he was born and I bought him home, I knew my life was going to be f'd up.

Oh my gosh Anree. Sounds like you're hating life there. I don't think you should be posting stupid crap like that about your son that is inappropriate and just awful. Don't blame your child for the way he turned out. You raised him didn't you? So who is to blame here, only you, so stop pointing fingers and take full responsibility.
