"F--- SNL and the whole cast," Kanye raps over a stuttering blitzkrieg of a beat that's ready for stadiums. "Tell them Yeezy said they can kiss my whole ass/ More specifically, they can kiss my asshole... And I embody every characteristic of the egotistic/ You know he's so f---ing gifted."
Yet for all the bragging, Kanye also returns to his infamously conflicted self image. The chorus claims that "no man should have all that power" and he shows sorrow that he became the "abomination of Obama's nation." It's pretty endearing, and there's no doubt that West has been honing his lyrical talents for this moment. He's rarely, if ever, come this strong with the wordplay.
As the song concludes, Kanye demonstrates the level sacrifice that he's gone through during those recent Hawaiian recording sessions. "Now this will be a beautiful death," he raps with singer Dwele on backing vocals. "I'm jumping out the window. I'm letting everything go. You got the power to let power go."
