Flesh-N-Bone Resolves 11-Year-Old Firearm Charge

Bone Thugs-N-Harmony member Flesh-N-Bone will finally be able to put the legal charge he's had dangling over his head for more than a decade to rest. Flesh-N-Bone, born Stanley Howse, was charged with felonious assault with a firearm in January of 1999 for allegedly assaulting his mother with a firearm. Now -- 11 years later -- the Cleveland native has finally caught a break.

On May 26, 2010 he entered a guilty plea to fourth degree misdemeanor of disorderly conduct and received a fine of $250 after the State of Ohio reduced the original felony charges.

"In our opinion, the reduced charge and the $250 fine are a reflection of the fact that the evidence did not support the original charge and the positive strides Stanley Howse made in this life with his music, his band, and of course his family. We are grateful to the Prosecutor's Office for re-evaluating the facts of the case," his lawyer said in a statement.

Flesh-N-Bone also commented on the new charges, showing gratitude to those who supported him throughout the case. "In my life, I have faced real tough times and I have been blessed in many ways; I am glad to put this behind me to focus on my music and my family. I am grateful to the family, friends, and fans of our music that have stood by me."
