Looks like Damon Dash will be heading to court yet again. While busy attempting to rebuild his once-formidable Roc-A-Fella empire, Dash is being sued for $1 million by an ex for harassing his son Damon Jr. and allegedly lying to the NYPD in order to make her appear in violation of a protective order. The ex, named Linda Williams, claims that Dash "threatened" his son after discovering that the 17-year old had taken a DJ gig and then held him against his will in their apartment. The couple has quite a legal history already. In 2008, Dash and Williams engaged in a highly contentious custody battle for Damon II and the label exec was awarded sole custody when all was said and done. Williams then tried to get a restraining order against Dash and now accuses him of providing a series of fraudulent testimony through a series of 10 emails that violated a Family Court protective order resulting from the initial custody trial. Williams claims that the emails were doctored and deliberately misled the NYPD in order to make her appear unsuitable as a parent.
Williams' accusations were aired out last week by the New York Daily News after court documents surfaced. Dash has yet to comment.
