Lil' Kim has had a strong presence in the headlines in the last two weeks. In addition to her issues with newcomer Nicki Minaj, rumors have been swirling that she signed with Jay-Z's Roc Nation, and now the noted femcee has picked up a new gig as a spokesperson for Three Olives Vodka's new "Purple" line.
In a recent interview with YRB, Kim revealed how her deal with Three Olives came about. "Fortunately enough this opportunity came to me," she said. "[Three Olives] built the campaign around me, which I thought was really great. That was really awesome. I was amazed they even thought of me. That was [number] one. A lot of times my management finds things, but I would say 90% out of 100%, these things come to me. I'm blessed."
In addition to speaking on her new deal with Three Olives Lil' Kim also says she is working on a new book. "I have my new book; it's called 'The Price of Loyalty' -- how ironic, right? It's with St. Martin's Press ... It tells a story. A lot of times my story gets cut short."
It's obvious that the Queen Bee is picking up speed following her new deal with Roc Nation. Lil Kim says sheís hoping and praying to release a new single in July.
