Bow Wow Sued for Skipping Out on Benefit Concert

Bow WowBow Wow is currently being sued for missing two scheduled performances back in 2009. According to reports, a suit has been filed against Bow Wow in the Easter District Court of Missouri, for failing to appear at two shows in May and September of 2009.

The promoter, Brad Gould, of Macsimus Entertainment, alleges that Bow Wow was paid $50,000 to perform in the Family Arena in Saint Charles, Missouri on May 31, 2009, but was a no-show.

The rapper allegedly pocketed the money, then promised to make up the date by appearing at Gould's "Back 2 School Jam," a benefit for Mothers Against Drunk Driving, DARE, Youth in Need, the Rotary Club and several other local charities, scheduled to take place on September 5, but once again skipped out.

Gould claims he paid out another $43,000 promoting the benefit, and seeks the combined $93,000 he spent, including Bow Wow's pocketed fee. The rapper has yet to respond to the suit.

It's funny how all these a$$hats can simply down-rank me, but find it difficult to counter my point. Is it because I agreed with "Untame"? lolz Well, I only agreed with him to an extent. His point takes a turn from mine, but mine is rock solid. Anyone who can prove me wrong, your opposition is welcome. Other than that, you already know what it is. It's easier to vote, huh? LMFBAO

Anyway! My point's been made. Enough said. ;)

How dumb is it to pay a "man" $43k upfront to perform at an event after he already stiffed you $50k for the very same thing? (I had a "friend" ask to borrow $20, which he did not repay. A year later he asked to borrow $30 more and when reminded he had not repaid the original loan, he said, "I'll just owe you $50." I told hime not a chance. That was two decades ago, and haven't heard from him since.) Mr. Gould should have hauled this man-child into court after the first breach and done his best to get a lien against this fool's property.

Maybe Bow Wow couldn't get off the chain that keeps him chained to his doghouse, all because he didn't clear his gig with his master. I hope he pays through the teeth, that'll teach him to schedule a gig without his master's permission.

It is common for these "artists" to no-show their concerts. I worked a Jewels Santana concert a few years back and everyone in the audience asked me, "Is he REALLY going to show up???" I told them, he better or we will sue his ass for no-show....

I am amazed that people shell out money to see these "performers" with the attitude that they will not show???? Unreal.

BTW, JS did show up, hour and half late, missed the expensive meet and greet, got on stage, did 2 or 3 "songs" and called it a night....a whole 10 minutes.

Unbelievable......I hear Bruce Springsteen will play for 2 hours for his fans and then hang out signing autographs.....nice little comparison.

Rule 1...Never do business with black people. They have no integrity or honor. They have only excuses for every failure.
BTW, when they ask Bow Wow to pay back the money, ya know he's gonna say
"I'z spent it dawg"

why did you people even bother to click on this "article" if you dont even like rap? are you so pathetic that you have to browse the internet and talk negatively about things that you clearly know nothing about....jay z is not a god to real rap fans. and the music being played on the radio is not the only rap music out. educate yourself before you start making idiotic comments for the world to see...and if you choose not to learn about what your reading about (which is fine. i mean, we do live in a free country), you might want to keep your thoughts to yourself. us open minded people dont want to read your simple comments.

in regards to the article...bow wow is about an idiot. that guy needs to be showing up to each and every appearance he's invited to. his star is fading to fast to be skipping out on stuff.
