Lord Infamous Recovering from Heart Attack, Stroke

Lord Infamous, one of the founding members of Academy Award-winning Memphis rap group Three 6 Mafia, suffered a heart attack and stroke earlier this week, according to reports. While details are still scarce regarding the circumstances of Infamous' condition, members of his former group have kept fans updated via Twitter, tweeting to say that while he's still hospitalized, he is recovering.

"About to go see lord at the hospital..i grew up with him..i will always be 3 6 mafia..always," tweeted Three 6 affiliate Gangsta Boo. Earlier this week, Juicy J, one of Three 6's two remaining members also wrote to say "Lord infamous is doin ok."

Though Lord Infamous left Three 6 Mafia, and was barred from returning to the group by Sony due to his numerous arrests, he is still a frequent collaborator. He recently released the 'Helloween EP,' and is said to be releasing a solo album in the near future.

I enjoy Lord Infamous. Ricky Dunnigan had a heart attack..why is this a forum to put down Infamous and Three 6 Mafia?

This dude JUST HAD A HEART ATTACK. Why are you bashing this dude? He wasn't even in Three 6 when they won an Oscar.

You all aren't familiar with any of his works, so you have nothing important to say.. just 'bla' 'bla' about the current state of rap or the validity of an academy award.

You all are retarded. Lord was not even featured in "its hard out here for a pimp. If you haven't heard his music keep your mouth shut. He is a real artist and writes his own stuff. Unlike most of your bubble gum rappers today. He grew up in the rough streets of Memphis and related the hardships and violence that most people are too scared to talk about. You people make me sick

Wow. Wishing death upon someone is real mature. Great job guys. Your getting on him for making MUSIC, freaking MUSIC. And first off, he had nothing to do with the Academy Award. He was not with Three 6 Mafia at the time. Second, it wasn't Three 6's idea for this song, it was actor Terrance Howard and the movie's idea "Hustle & Flow". Three 6 made the beat & wrote it, but Terrance Howard was the original performer, but he wanted Three 6 to perform at the Oscars. And third, its freaking MUSIC. Like just like MOVIES. There are rated R movies, there is rated R music. Music does not make ppl or "kids" kill, rob or rape ppl. Please THINK before you make immature comments about how you wish someone would just "die" because they make music, whether you like it or not. If you think it does harm to kids, which is insane, then don't let them listen to music with explicit lyrics. Be a parent. Im sure your kids will be proud to see you want someone you dont even know to just die already because they make explicit music. Im guessing you want every rapper to die. Great. Like your so perfect.

This Lord Infamous and I would like to thank you personally for setting the record straight for those ignorant assholes who don't understand that this is BUSINESS and how I survive. Wishing death on someone when you don't understand their lifestyle, what they have gone through, or why they write the kind of music they produce is so stupid. Okay...there is brief mention of being seductive and alluring in 'dress'. The word 'pimp' means, among other things, one who is a procurer. It also refers to a scoundrel, a knave, or a varlet. It has NOTHING to do with intelligence. There is no reference to intelligence in the definition.
