Oprah Winfrey ranked at No 1 for the third time, having topped the list in 2007 and '08 and being displaced by Angelina Jolie last year. Beyonce Knowles came in second, reportedly receiving $85 million in pay and ranking 11th in money, 9th in TV/Radio, 13th in press, second in web and 15th in social rank. Further down the chart, Jay-Z landed at No. 15 with pay of $63 million and ranking 21st in money, 45th in TV/Radio, 29th in press, 23rd in web and 26th in social rank.
Other music acts to chart on the prestigious list include Lady Gaga at No. 4, Britney Spears at No. 6 and the Black Eyed Peas at No. 16. Further down the chart, Sean 'Diddy' Combs ranked at No. 68 while Lil Wayne dropped in at No. 74 and Akon settled at No. 80. Comedian Chelsea Handler placed at No. 98, while Mariska Hargitay rounded out the 100 with an annual pay of $9.5 million.
Noticeably missing from the list are Kanye West and Curtis '50 Cent' Jackson, who topped the Forbes List of Hip-Hop Cash Kings in 2008 but is nowhere to be found on this year's Celebrity 100 list. Jay-Z topped the Cash Kings list in '09, knocking 50 out of the top spot and bumping him down to number four behind Diddy and Kanye West, respectively.
Last year, Jolie and Winfrey led the pack ahead of Madonna, Beyonce and Tiger Woods, respectively. Jay-Z ranked at number 32, while Diddy dropped at 35 and Kanye West and 50 Cent placed at 46 and 50.
