Since taking the music scene by storm in the last year, Drake has become the man to beat in the game right now, and according to DJ Kid Capri, the Toronto native will take hip-hop to the next level. "I think Drake is the one that's gonna make it go," Kid Capri told The BoomBox. "He understands the music, he understands the business he understands what it means to be in a position that he's in and be humble about it."
Drake's career continues to move at lightening speed. His 'So Far Gone,' mixtape received a Grammy nomination and he just dropped his long awaited 'Thank Me Later' debut in mid-June. "He's creating opportunities for other people around him and that's what it's all about," Capri continued. "It's about innovating and moving on and that's what he is. He's young, he got a whole career ahead of him."
Selling close to 500,000 units in its first week, 'Thank Me Later,' which features appearances from Jay-Z, Lil Wayne and Nicki Minaj, earned the 23-year-old the top-selling debut album from an artist this year.
