'Money in the Bank' producer Swizz Beatz owes Uncle Sam some serious dough. According to reports, Swizz, who recently announced his engagement to a visibly pregnant Alicia Keys, has been hit with an IRS lien for $652,787 for unpaid 2008 income tax.
This is not the first time the Ruff Ryder producer has been in tax trouble. Over the past four years, several liens have been filed against Swizz and his estranged ex-wife Mashonda, amounting to a grand total of $2.2 Million owed. In Rockland County, N.Y., a $556,986 lien was filed against them in 2008, followed by a $162,300 tax warrant in 2009. Back in 2006, a similar lien was filed against the former couple in Somerset County, N.J., to the tune of $842,645.
"We have been discussing the issue with the government for years and are currently negotiating an amicable resolution of the dispute," said Swizz's attorney.
