The whirlwind romance between producer/singer The-Dream and his new bride, Christina Milian has officially fallen by the wayside. Following rumors of infidelity, pictures of Dream canoodling with a mystery woman in Atlanta, plus racy photos of he and his assistant, Melissa Santiago, on vacation in the Caribbean, the 31-year-old finally broke down and confirmed the separation. "Terius 'The-Dream' Nash is saddened to announce that his marriage to Christina Milian was unsuccessful," said his rep in a statement to US Weekly magazine. "The couple reached this decision in late 2009, but decided to keep the news private in efforts to protect their baby daughter Violet. They ask for consideration and respect for their family moving forward." Dream however failed to confirm or deny the cheating rumors.
The couple were married in Rome, Italy last year, in a small ceremony, and soon announced news of Milian's pregnancy. The 28-year-old singer gave birth to their daughter, Violet in March. Unfortunately, this news marks the second failed marriage for Dream. He was previously married to singer Nivea but filed for divorce in 2008, the couple share three children together. Nivea has since given birth to her fourth child, a son, with rapper Lil Wayne.
