With 'Def Jam Rapstar' on the way in October, it's only right that the folks over at 'DJ Hero' are cooking up a new version of their series for the very same month. Launched last year with some extensive marketing by Jay-Z and Eminem, the second 'DJ Hero' installment features a vastly expanded artist lineup while continuing to service every genre from hip-hop to European techno and pop.
Song titles haven't been released as of yet, but hip-hop heads can expect to get their fake scratch on to a mixture of classics -- 2Pac, Afrika Bambaataa, Notorious B.I.G. and RZA -- and more popular current artists -- 50 Cent, Kanye West, Lil Wayne, Eminem and Young Jeezy. Similar to expansions of the 'Guitar Hero' franchise, it's safe to assume that 'DJ Hero 2' will come with new functionalities and perhaps some social media components to challenge the new 'Rapstar' game.
