Drake Admits to Having Andre 3000 Shrine in His Apartment

Drake's debut album 'Thank Me Later' is chock full of features from all-stars including Jay-Z, Alicia Keys and fellow Young Money rapper Nicki Minaj, but the Toronto emcee recently revealed that he was turned down for a collaboration with one of his favorite artists -- Andre 3000.

But despite the fact that his request was denied, Drake definitely holds no grudges against the Outkast rapper. In an interview with Paper Magazine, Drizzy admitted that he had taken the time to construct a tribute to Andre in his home. "I have a shrine in my apartment dedicated to Andre," Drake said. "I took a door off a barn and had an artist take the lyrics from his verses [and put them] on this barn door. As soon as you walk into my apartment that's the first thing you see."

While it's unlikely that worshiping your favorite artist will land you a collaboration, Drake recently told Vibe that he is still hoping to score a feature on his sophomore album.

"I really tried to do a song with Andre 3000, but i think it was meant for my second album," Drake said. "Dre is one of those people that needs you to do a little more. He's one of those people that believe in his craft so much that he needs you to do more than just be over hyped or just famous. In his mind, I have to prove myself and the truth is, I do. That's just being real. I have a lot of work to do, so i actually respect him for that. I think on the second album I'll probably only have two features. I have a few people in mind and Dre probably will be one of them."

Drake is expected to premiere the video for album's third single 'Miss Me,' featuring Lil Wayne in the next few weeks.
