Among those scheduled to participate in the summit include rapper Fat Joe, basketball player Ron Artest, DJ Drama, and radio personality and blogger Miss Info. The final decision on who wears the "Sucker Free" crown will be left up to a total of 57 industry trendsetters representing the North, South, East and West. The judges have been selected for their various backgrounds within the music entertainment industry.
Leading up to the event, the network will air 'Sucker Free Week: On to the Summit.' The special will consist of a series of shows, which will include a special 'Sucker Free' music block to air on MTV Jams as well as music videos featuring nominees in categories like "Remix of the Year" and" Club Banger of the Year." MTV2's 'Sucker Free Summit' airs Sunday, July 25 at 12 p.m. EST.
